Adding Custom Products

Custom products are added to Specifi by you when you need a particular product that you wouldn't order from your Specifi Suppliers, for example a TV or small electrical product that you were only purchasing once.
To add a custom product:

  1. Click on the 'Products' tab on the left hand menu
  2. This will then open up your products page, on the left click on 'Custom Products'
  3. At the top, you can choose to Bulk Upload or Add Custom Product (singly) 
  4. If you are choosing the Bulk Upload option you will need to download the template to ensure the right data is being added
  5. If you choose to singly add a Custom Product it will bring up a window where you can enter details about the product and upload an image



  1. When adding Custom Products you can set the installation time, this will allow you to quote better for your labour
  2. There is also an option to add cables, if appropriate, meaning that it will pull through onto your generated Cable Schedule
  3. At the bottom, click 'Add Custom Product', this will then be added and you can use in any of your Proposals/projects.
